From October 13 to 15, Mr. Ramon D. Durano III, Mayor of Danao City, Cebu Province, the Philippines, and his delegation visited our company. They toured the completed waste-to-energy project at the Weihai Waste Incineration Power Plant. After the visit, the two sides held in-depth talks on the WTE waste-to-energy project and signed a memorandum of understanding.
During the talks, our side introduced the company's resource advantages in the waste-to-energy field and its successful cases in the United Kingdom. The EPC partner, China Haisum Group, introduced its technical expertise, project construction, and operation and management experience. The Mayor of Danao City introduced the local waste treatment situation and municipal environmental protection needs. The two sides had full exchanges on project cooperation models, technical routes, project site selection conditions, environmental standards, and construction and operation arrangements, and reached preliminary consensus.
Both sides agreed that the signing of the MOU laid a good foundation for subsequent cooperation. Next, the two sides will establish regular communication and mutual visit mechanisms to promote the early implementation of the project, help Danao City improve its waste resource utilization level, and support local green, low-carbon, and sustainable development.
